People often ask me where my materials come from. The answer is the industrial world I work in every day.
By day, I'm a sales rep at OCO Industrial, a supplier serving manufacturers across the El Paso / Ciudad Juárez borderland. I see the connectors, LEDs, wire sleeving and racking that keep production lines running. I also see how much of it ends up as surplus.
That's where Serjirism begins. Every piece I create gives a second life to materials that were meant to be discarded, contrasting the roughness of raw industry with refined details and light.
I'm proud to announce a new collaboration with OCO Industrial. Together, we'll share the stories behind the work, show how industrial components become art, and invite manufacturers to donate their surplus instead of scrapping it.
